To help make your stay with us go as smoothly as possible, we’ve put everything you need to know right here.
Wi-Fi
We have Wi-Fi available for you to use, just find the WIFI-Guest network on your device. This should take you to a Sky log in page, but if not type sky.com into your browser and select ‘Get online at Sheffield University’. You’ll then log in with your cloud account, if you don’t have one there is a form for you to fill out. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be online and free to browse at your leisure.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the Refectory at the following times:
Monday – Friday: 7am – 10am
Saturday – Sunday: 7.30am – 10.30am
A full continental buffet is available and our hot breakfast menu is cooked fresh to order every day. If you’d like to bring a guest to breakfast, please let us know at the front desk and we’ll be happy to accommodate. Additional breakfast guests are charged at £15 per person.
To order a room service breakfast please call reception and place an order from the breakfast menu in your desk drawer. A tray charge of £3.50 will be applied.
Bar and Restaurant
Our bar is available 24 hours a day for guests with food served between 12pm and 8:30pm every day. Our Music Room Restaurant is open for evening meals from 6pm-8:30pm every evening and
our current menu is available on our website or in your desk drawer should you wish to order room service. All room service orders are subject to a £3.50 tray charge.
Should you wish to guarantee your place in our restaurant, we recommend booking a table with our receptionist, who will be able to inform you of availability. On Sunday evenings, our menu is slightly different with only our classics selection on offer.
Amenities
All our rooms are equipped with safes, fans, Nespresso coffee machines and Noble Isle toiletries, should you wish to request an iron/ironing board, please call reception who will be happy to deliver one to your room. Our tap water is potable, however we can provide filtered bottled water upon request. The top up stations for coffee machines are regularly filled throughout the day and all snacks are complimentary. Should you prefer a kettle in your room, please ask a member of staff and they will be happy to accommodate your request.
Checking out
Check out is at 11am but we can offer late check out until 1pm for a fee of £10 per hour. If you have any other questions, please give our reception team a call on 0114 222 8810 and they will help however they can.
