After rescheduling their big day three times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Jess and Harry’s blissfully romantic wedding day finally arrived at Halifax Hall in October. Their theme surrounded blush pink and grey tones intertwined with eucalyptus foliage which adorned the tables in Halifax Hall’s bright and spacious Dining Room, giving the wedding a dreamy and stylish flair. Guests at the new Mr and Mrs Smith’s celebration were treated to a selection of delicious macaroons as wedding favours, alongside a pair of flip flops for when their feet were tired from dancing the night away on Halifax hall’s in-house dancefloor. Guests also had unrestricted access to the sweets table which boasted a variety of treats for those with a sweet tooth.
Jess and Harry opted for a bespoke wedding breakfast that paid homage to Halifax Hall’s home city- Sheffield. Our highly-skilled chefs created a warming Steak and Henderson’s Relish Pie with Peas- the perfect meal for an Autumn wedding when the air is cooling down for Winter. For their evening meal, our couple chose to make use of Halifax Hall’s wood fired pizza oven, offering the freshly baked Italian classic with a side of crispy wedges for each guest. The wedding cake at this celebration was a thing of beauty. A four tiered cake sat on a rustic wooden plinth surrounded by foliage matching the tables and was finished with blush pink satin ribbon and the couple’s initials in a heart shaped decal, adding to the romantic essence of the day.
Alicia Eden photographed the couple’s day beautifully, with a plethora of shots that feature the couple in Halifax Hall’s leafy gardens and depict the leaves gently turning orange and brown with the change of the seasons.
