Bells were certainly ringing out for our couple’s Winter wonderland themed wedding at Halifax Hall in December! Whilst the snow wasn’t anticipated for Mr and Mrs Bell’s special day, it was a pleasant surprise for the celebration of the couple’s union. This wedding was adorned with winter greenery and flourishes of red detailing, giving the room a Christmassy feel and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in Halifax Hall’s spacious Dining Room. Our bride and groom, Kirsty and Andy, opted for gift wrapped boxes of chocolates as their wedding favours for guests, mirroring the idea of opening gifts on Christmas morning and following the festive theme.
The menu for our couple’s big day was a classic, British themed selection offering a traditional and comforting variety of meals crafted by our exceptionally talented in-house chefs. For the canapes, our chefs demonstrated their own takes on a table top picnic, featuring delicious foods that were ‘Great and British’. Kirsty and Andy’s bespoke wedding breakfast was a hearty roast dinner with tender Roast Beef, crispy Roast Potatoes, a Yorkshire Pudding and Gravy, alongside Seasonal Vegetables served family style for all guests to tuck in and enjoy. Their dessert selection was a dream for all chocolate fans, with an Assiette of Chocolate Desserts, Chocolate and Raspberry Tart, Dark Chocolate and Orange Mousse, and White Chocolate Ice Cream.
The snow acted as the perfect backdrop for this couple’s photography, lightly coating the foliage in Halifax Hall’s stunning gardens and reflecting the light to contrast the evening Winter sky. The gallery shots were beautifully captured by our recommended photographer, Key Reflections. You can see these down below.
