Laura and Ashveen’s intimate Spring wedding at Halifax Hall, Sheffield showed that you don’t have to invite lots of guests to have the perfect day! The couple celebrated their union surrounded by their nearest and dearest family and friends, making this Spring themed wedding the definition of intimate. With the pastel toned decorations carefully selected by the bride and groom, Halifax Hall’s beautiful, spacious dining room looked bright and airy with natural light flooding in from the large windows and illuminating the space. The tables were filled with florals and greenery, complimented by delicate place cards and wedding favours, really reflecting the elegance and poise of the bride herself, Laura.
The catering at this wedding was a menu filled with variety and flavour. A bespoke wedding breakfast was prepared for our couple by Halifax Hall’s team of talented and highly-skilled in house chefs, featuring Lemon Scented Supreme of Chicken with Crisp Gnocchi, Butternut Squash and Rosemary Puree, and Garlic Buttered Fine Beans. Glazed Lemon Tart with Lemon Curd Ice Cream and Raspberry Coulis was served to finish. The couple’s choice of canapes included Beetroot, Goats Cheese and Pine Nut Toasts, Teriyaki Chicken Balls with Wasabi Mayonnaise, Bloody Mary Bruschettas, and Smoked Salmon Blinis with Dill Crème Fraiche. The evening meal was a Chicken Curry Pie with Peas, placing a delicious cultural twist on a traditional British favourite and making the menu from this wedding one to remember.
